Mrs. Naty Cheng Joins Go Negosyo's Mentor Me on Wheels Program

Last August 24, 2018, our President and CEO, Mrs. Natividad Cheng participated in Go Negosyo's Mentor Me on Wheels program where she gave free one-on-one mentorship to different business owners. Held at The Block Atrium at SM North EDSA, the mentorship spanned from 10 am to 6:30 pm where pre-registered and walk-in mentees got to ask about all things business. Mentor Me on Wheels is a joint project of Go Negosyo and the Department of Trade and Industry to bring mentorship closer to the Filipinos. Led by Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion, the mentors of the program are established business owners from different industries around the country, including Mrs. Cheng; William Belo, Founder of Wilcon Depot; Ma. Fe Agudo, President and CEO of Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc.; Dr. Vivian Sarabia, President of Sarabia Optical; and a lot more. Go Negosyo Adviser on Agripreneurship Ginggay Hontiveros, who also mentors Marawi residents to help rebuild their lives, was also present at the event. She acknowledged not only Mrs. Cheng's contribution to the program, but also the company's relief efforts in the recent Marawi siege. "Ma’am Naty Cheng of Uratex is not only a powerhouse leader and entrepreneur-mentor, she also has the kindest heart. She was instrumental in many of the donations sent to Marawi for families affected by the siege. These included the mattresses, chairs, and tables she sent which to this day, are being used not just in temporary homes or centers, but also serve as support equipment for the agribiz mentoring and training sessions we have been conducting on-ground with IDPs turned farmers." A strong leader with a kind heart, Mrs. Cheng indeed is a mentor we are all very blessed to have.
